Drama is brewing among the Hot Boys as Turk responds to B.G.’s harsh criticism, admitting he’s baffled by the sudden hostility.
Turk is scratching his head, wondering why fellow Hot Boys member B.G. is throwing shade his way. The rapper candidly admits he has no idea why B.G. is so upset with him. Just a few weeks ago, a Hot Boys reunion seemed possible, but tensions are flaring now.
At the recent Cash Money anniversary celebration at Essence Festival, both Turk and Lil Wayne were notably absent. B.G. didn’t hold back, claiming Turk was to blame for his own absence. B.G. stated, “The n-gga did a bunch of ho shit and can’t take it back […] The n-gga know what he did last summer.”
B.G. didn’t stop there. He compared Turk to Destiny’s Child’s LeToya Luckett and suggested that Turk wouldn’t be missed in a Hot Boys reunion. Taking to his YouTube channel, Turk fired back at B.G.’s remarks. According to Turk, “B.G. to me has been very disrespectful. If I really did anything to you, brother, I can’t see you holding back and saying what it is.”
Turk appears genuinely confused. He reiterated, “I don’t know what it is, I can’t figure it out. I can’t put no light on a lie. Homie made a statement saying I know what I did last summer. I know what I did last summer.”
Trying to set the record straight, Turk highlighted the positive gestures he’s made towards B.G. in recent years. He mentioned their get-together at LeBron James’ party, where he publicly supported B.G., saying, “Hold up LeBron, free muthafucking B.G.!” According to Turk, a Hot Boys reunion without B.G. was never an option.
Yet, the rift between the two seems deep. Earlier this week, Turk sounded exasperated, declaring he no longer wanted to join the Hot Boys after skipping the Essence Festival. His stance was clear: “You n-ggas want that shit to come together ’cause you n-ggas fucked up outchea. I ain’t fucked up outchea. I’m blessed and highly favored by God. Y’all got me fucked up.”
Clearly frustrated, Turk added, “Disrespect won’t be tolerated, n-gga. I don’t give a fuck who a n-gga is. Ain’t no Big I’s or Lil U’s over me, mane. B.G. better sit his muthafucking ass down somewhere, man. That n-gga don’t run shit round here — not with me.”
Taking it further, Turk criticized B.G.’s recent music, saying, “Them wack ass raps, man. That shit wack, n-gga. All you n-ggas dick riding ’round here, man. That shit wack.”
For now, the Hot Boys reunion looks shaky, if not impossible. Both rappers have made their stances clear, and it doesn’t look like they’re backing down anytime soon.
In the world of hip-hop, feuds are nothing new, but this rift between Turk and B.G. might just be too wide to bridge. Only time will tell if these Hot Boys can patch things up.
