In a heated Instagram Live session, Trick Daddy announced a bold decision: if Florida pushes PornHub out due to a new law, he’s packing his bags. The rapper, deeply affected, voiced his frustration over the possible ban, making it clear he’d leave his beloved state behind.

Trick Daddy, the 50-year-old rapper, didn’t hold back as he expressed his dissatisfaction. He stated, ‘Y’all take PornHub off the internet in Florida, I’m out of here. I love y’all, but if they take PornHub out of Florida, I’m out of here, I swear to God. I’m gone. 14 days.’

His words reflect a frustration shared by many in Florida. With the looming ban, users may soon be unable to access the adult site, following its refusal to comply with a new state law.

Starting January 1, Florida will require users to verify their age on all pornographic sites. A trade group has already filed a lawsuit against this law, claiming it infringes on free speech.

Florida wouldn’t be the first state with such restrictions. PornHub has already limited access in Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Montana, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, Texas, and Virginia.

A statement on PornHub’s site questions the need for such strict measures, warning that requiring government ID jeopardizes user privacy. ‘Did you know that your government wants you to give your driver’s license before you can access PORNHUB? As crazy as that sounds, it’s true,’ it reads.

The site acknowledges the importance of preventing minors from accessing adult content but argues these measures aren’t the solution. ‘We don’t want minors accessing our site and think preventing that from happening is a good thing. But putting everybody’s privacy at risk won’t achieve that,’ it adds.

Trick Daddy’s outburst aligns with similar sentiments from other celebrities. Kanye West, for instance, has openly expressed his appreciation for PornHub, even receiving a lifetime membership from the site for his loyalty.

As January approaches, Trick Daddy’s bold statement underscores the tension surrounding Florida’s new law. While the rapper considers his options, many residents share his concerns over privacy and access. The coming months will reveal whether these laws will stand or if challenges will succeed.
