Get ready for a twisty tale coming straight from Paris. Travis Scott finds himself in hot water again after allegedly getting into a fight with his bodyguard at the swanky George V Hotel.

According to reports, Scott allegedly attacked a security guard who tried to break up the scuffle between him and his bodyguard. For this, French prosecutors have launched a criminal investigation into the rapper for unspecified violence against the guard.

Prosecutors in Paris confirmed that police officers were called to the hotel on August 9, 2024. The officers arrested Travis Scott for assaulting a security guard. The security guard had stepped in to separate Scott from his bodyguard. The Paris public prosecutor’s office has now referred the case to the 1st district of the judicial police.

The day before his arrest, Travis Scott was seen enjoying an Olympic basketball game between the U.S.A. and Serbia in Paris. However, he has not commented on the incident yet.

Scott’s troubles don’t stop in Paris. Just two months ago, he was booked in Miami for disorderly intoxication and trespassing. While the intoxication charge has since been dropped, the trespassing charge still looms with a possible sentence of up to 60 days in jail or a fine up to $500.

In Miami, Scott was arrested on June 20 for causing a disturbance on a charter boat at the Miami Beach Marina. Police said he was drunk and creating a commotion. In bodycam footage, Scott is seen arguing with officers who he claims “scared” him. The video shows him being restrained and handcuffed by four officers before being led to a police car.

He will face trial for the trespassing charge on September 10.

Travis Scott’s recent arrest adds another chapter to his ongoing legal woes. As he readies for his Miami trial, the Paris incident might complicate things further. Stay tuned as this story unfolds.
