On Thursday, SZA shared an intense message on X, expressing her desire for a love so consuming that it takes over every aspect of her life. She wrote, “I wanna be loved so madly I can’t think I can’t breathe I can’t BE. I WANNA BE TRAPPED IN THE EVER DOWNWARD SPIRAL OF HYSTERIA THAT IS LOVE I WANNA DROWN AND SUFFOCATE IN ITTTT AAAAHHHHHHHHH CHOKE ME IN LOVE PLEASE !!!”
Her declaration comes on the heels of a conversation she had last month about her difficulties in relationships. SZA confessed on ‘Chicken Shop Date’ that she struggles to keep men interested, saying “I feel like I can catch ’em, but I cannot keep ’em. They get with me and they realize I’m fucking weird, and then it’s just like, ‘Aight.’”

So when I started trying to make music, it was this thing that I didn’t have to try at and I was randomly good at,” she shared.
