Snoop Dogg has gone international, bringing his cannabis expertise to Amsterdam with the opening of his very own coffee shop. The grand unveiling was captured in a video shared on Snoop’s official Instagram and his brand page, S.W.E.D.
Though Snoop himself was absent, his son and partner, Cordell Broadus, took the stage, declaring it “the first Snoop Dogg coffee shop in the Netherlands,” hinting at more to come. The shop offers a diverse range of cannabis products alongside memorabilia from Snoop’s illustrious career. Quotes from his songs, like “It ain’t no fun if the homies can’t have none,” add a nostalgic touch.
Earlier this year, Snoop celebrated the opening of the first S.W.E.D. dispensary in Los Angeles, paying tribute to 2Pac. The tribute includes a limited edition line of Death Row Cannabis products featuring images of 2Pac and a premium cannabis blend. Customers also get an exclusive photo of the “Dear Mama” legend and a commemorative matchbook.
Reflecting on his history with 2Pac, Snoop shared a heartfelt memory at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2017, revealing, “2Pac is the one who got Snoop Dogg smoking blunts.” The two artists shared a deep friendship, which Snoop now honors through his cannabis line.
The S.W.E.D. shop also offers fans a unique experience with a Death Row electric chair, graffiti-covered walls, and various music memorabilia, including pieces from Snoop’s groundbreaking debut album.
Snoop Dogg’s venture into the Amsterdam coffee shop scene showcases his dedication to both his cannabis business and his musical legacy, creating a unique cultural experience for fans.
