Rubi Rose has set the record straight about her so-called romance with comedian Druski. Taking to X, she revealed the relationship was strictly for promotional purposes.
In a series of now-deleted posts on Tuesday morning (September 17), Rubi candidly shared, “And for the record i never slept with that man, n-gga paid for PR. Not the pussy. He is funny and nice tho! I only give it up if I’m in love, ion care how much money a n-gga got. I’m rich asf lol.”
Druski took Rubi’s comments in stride, humorously sharing a movie poster from ‘Love Don’t Cost A Thing’ on his Instagram Story, with his face superimposed over Nick Cannon’s.
Back in April, the internet buzzed when Rubi and Druski appeared to confirm their relationship on social media. Druski shared a photo of them together with the caption “DRUBI [heart emoji],” and Rubi commented, “you love me huh baby.”
Shortly after, Rubi posted vacation photos from the Dominican Republic, sparking rumors that the two had a fling there. She captioned the photos, “ever made love on an island?”
Online reactions were mixed, with some users skeptical about the authenticity of their relationship. One user on Druski’s post remarked, “Can’t tell if this n-gga trolling or not [crying laughter emoji],” while another said, “Once I see the kiss I’ll believe it.”
A few weeks later, Rubi and Druski attempted to silence doubters with a public display of affection in a raunchy video. Rubi flipped off the camera before getting cozy with Druski, who then licked her tongue. She captioned the post: “My fucking baby [white heart emoji].”
In another Instagram Story, Druski was seen lifting Rubi up and down as if she were a weight, ending with another kiss. Rubi captioned it: “My strong papa [smiling face with hearts emoji].”
Their PDA-filled posts did little to convince skeptics, and now, with Rubi’s latest revelation, it’s clear the relationship was purely for PR. The two have since gone their separate ways.
