Rick Ross faced a new wave of taunts from a Drake fan who sucker punched him at the Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver. This fan, under the alias Icarus, released a diss track named “White Boy,” piling on the mockery.

The diss track doesn’t hold back, featuring a video that allegedly includes a chain belonging to Sam Sneak, Ross’s longtime DJ. Additionally, there’s footage of Ross fleeing the fight while his entourage gets outnumbered, and images from his past as a correctional officer in Florida.

Lyrically, Icarus takes aim at Ross for his conduct during the brawl. “Capping on the ‘Gram, you was stumbling out the gate / Searching for the exit, left your DJ like some bait / Fed him to the demons, too conceited to explain / You a bird and a bitch, I clipped your wings, stop the games,” he raps.

Ross has tried to minimize the incident. In an Instagram video, he recounted his perspective, saying, “When the first dude stepped up to Rozay, the lil’ short fat one that looked like Bam Bam Bigelow from wrestling. When he stepped up, I squatted down and his eyes had told him what I said. Basically, ‘Boy, if I hit you, I’ma see everything you ate for the last two days.’ His balls dropped out of his ass.”

Ross downplayed the sucker punch that sparked the backstage brawl. He continued, “Then the n-gga behind him said, ‘I know MMA!’ And then I got hit with a drink. I’m still convinced ain’t no n-gga punched me. Somebody said, ‘Rozay, the n-gga tried to punch you, he hit you!’ I said, ‘Nah, he had to throw a drink.’ ‘Cause throwing a drink would have been way more disrespectful than screaming, ‘I know MMA!’”

Meanwhile, Drake added fuel to the fire by wishing his Instagram followers a Happy Canada Day and saying, “Cheers to the whole country” while sipping on a drink. In another post, the Toronto native filmed himself rapping along to “Northern Touch” by the Rascalz, a group from Vancouver, where the fight took place.

The saga continues as Rick Ross juggles public perception following the brawl and subsequent diss track by Icarus. With Drake subtly fanning the flames, it’s clear that this feud isn’t cooling down anytime soon.
