Over the weekend, Rick Ross found himself in a tough spot in Vancouver. Here’s what went down:
Rick Ross got into some serious trouble after his performance at the Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver. He reportedly asked his DJ to play Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” which led to some tension in the crowd. Videos show him getting punched in the face, and his crew quickly stepped in to defend him.
Rumor has it that the men who attacked Ross are Drake fans, although this hasn’t been confirmed yet. As social media lit up with reactions, Ross’ ex-wife, Tia Kemp, chimed in as well.
Tia Kemp took to Instagram Live to roast Ross. She didn’t hold back, saying, “They f*ckin’ his fat a** up. I’m glad they smacked the sh*t out yo big a**.” Her comments reflected the rocky nature of their current relationship.
Many were surprised by Kemp’s harsh words, thinking she might show some sympathy. However, it seems Ross wasn’t too bothered by the incident, based on his recent social media activity.
Ross posted on Instagram Stories, saying, “Vancouver was fun, til next time.” He even joked in the comments section of The Shade Room that he thought his attackers were “bottle service boys.”
Rick Ross appears unfazed by the incident, while reactions continue to pour in.
