In an interview with Awaiz Punjani on August 6, PARTYNEXTDOOR shared that they’re working on a whopping 15 tracks together. When asked about his favorite track, PND enthusiastically said, ‘The one we doing right now – all 15 we doing right now.’
The news first hit when Drake showed up at the PARTYNEXTDOOR & Friends concert on August 2 in Toronto. He teased the crowd, saying, ‘I know all you girls are outside and when it gets a little chilly, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake album will be right there for you.’ However, there’s still no official release date except Drake’s hint about a chilly release.
Drake’s surprise appearance wasn’t just talk. He thrilled the audience by performing a set including fan favorites like ‘Sweeterman’, ‘Finesse’, ‘Redemption’, ‘Come and See Me’, ‘Drama’, and his remix of ‘Hey There Delilah’. It was a night to remember for those lucky fans.
Meanwhile, in another twist, A$AP Rocky seems to be reigniting his beef with Drake. In his latest single ‘HIGHJACK’, Rocky appears to take several jabs at Drake. Hot 97’s DJ Kast One recently confirmed this during a discussion about Rocky’s upcoming album ‘Don’t Be Dumb’. He said, ‘I heard A$AP Rocky definitely addressing a lot of the main topics that are happening out there right now.’ When asked if Drake is on the hit list, DJ Kast responded, ‘Oh, he’s gonna be cemented on the list after this.’
