Offset recently confronted YSL co-founder Mondo for sliding into Cardi B’s DMs after their public spat.
In a series of videos posted online, Mondo revealed that Offset called him, upset about the messages he sent to Cardi B. Mondo recounted Offset’s words, “Bruh, why you playin’ with a n-gga?” He responded, “The truth hurts! You shouldn’t have been on the internet with your bidness, my boy…”
Mondo didn’t hold back, mentioning his past with Offset’s ex, Shya L’amour, and claimed he tried to get with Cardi B. He clarified, “I came in her DM and you cock blocked ’cause she went.” He criticized Offset for being “in [his] feelings” and not acknowledging his daughter with L’amour.
While Offset has remained silent, Mondo’s remarks ignited a back-and-forth with L’amour. She accused Mondo of seeking “clout,” but Mondo retorted harshly, suggesting she stay quiet before he “embarrasses” her. He reminded her that Offset hadn’t claimed her as the mother of his child for years.
Interestingly, Mondo later admitted in an Instagram Story that his message to Cardi B was sent months ago and that he was “trolling”. He insisted he didn’t mention Offset in the DM and it was all a joke. Despite the claim, the drama coincides with Cardi B and Offset’s recent turbulent social media exchange.
During their dispute, Offset accused Cardi of infidelity while she was pregnant with their third child. Cardi responded with a tweet confirming the allegation and revealed she began talking to other men in June. She also shared text messages where Offset seemed to seek her attention.
Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset in early August, shortly before they welcomed their third child. With emotions still running high, it’s clear the drama isn’t settling down anytime soon.
