Another New Music Friday is here, delivering a fantastic array of tracks from hip hop legends and current stars.

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign are at it again, dropping extra tracks from their Vultures 2 album. The new songs feature some top-tier guests: Kid Cudi on ‘Gun to My Head,’ Travis Scott on ‘Can U Be,’ Kodak Black and Peso Pluma on ‘Drunk.’ Each track is available on different digital deluxe versions of the album.

Quavo is taking his summer collaborations up a notch. This time, he teams up with rock icon Lenny Kravitz for the track ‘Fly,’ a fresh spin on Kravitz’s classic ‘Fly Away.’ Produced by Andrew Watt and Cirkut, it’s music magic.

Meanwhile, LL Cool J is giving us a taste of his upcoming album with the single ‘Proclivities,’ featuring Saweetie. Produced by Q-Tip, this track combines old-school vibes with modern seduction, particularly with lyrics like ‘Damn baby I don’t know if you dance or not / I’d love to see you on the pole.’

Kodak Black’s new single ‘Hit Stick,’ produced by Dr. Zeuz and Rvei.wav, brings a hardcore New York drill vibe. It’s one of his toughest tracks in recent years and might just lead up to a new album.

Incarceration isn’t slowing down Tory Lanez one bit. He drops ‘Sweat It Out’ and ‘Skate On Jake,’ both part of his Prison Tapes series. These songs showcase his versatility, from a gnarly rap on ‘Skate On Jake’ to a falsetto ode in ‘Sweat It Out.’

Real Boston Richey and GloRilla belt out ‘Get In There,’ a strip-club-ready banger produced by D Dot Freezing. GloRilla continues to aim for that song-of-the-summer title with this collaboration.

On the softer side, Lil Tecca delivers ‘Taste,’ a track about relationship conflicts. Produced by Rio Leyva, Vendr, dammittony, and Taz Taylor, it includes a fun shout out to Yoda and even croquet scenes in the video.

Doe Boy teams up with Flo Milli and Skilla Baby for ‘Special,’ produced by Mia JayC and Gentle Beatz. This strip club anthem is Doe Boy’s biggest mainstream push since 2019’s ‘100 Shooters.’

38 Spesh and Method Man come together for ‘Speshal Methods,’ a track with a psychedelic beat by Jimmy Dukes. Their lyrical chemistry is so tight; 38 Spesh could pass for an honorary Wu-Tang member.

Consequence’s ‘Overdose,’ featuring YNW Melly, is a meditative joint produced by Kanye West. The song serves as a cautionary tale about overindulgence and will be part of Cons’ upcoming LP, ‘Nice Doing Business With You.’

Russ delivers ‘Fendi Bucket,’ a sub-two-minute track that showcases his lyrical acrobatics over his own production. It’s a quick but impressive display of his skill.

Powers Pleasant and Joey Bada$$ drop ‘Rumble,’ featuring horns and sports-related bars perfect for this Olympic summer. It’s a different sound from their Pro Era days, but a welcome evolution.

NLE Choppa and J.P. revamp ‘Slut Me Out 2’ with a country remix, produced by EMRLD, Danny Magic, and IOF. This new version breathes fresh life into the original hit.

Ray Vaughn’s latest, ‘Ray Wop,’ produced by Wallis Lane and TAKA, keeps up his hot streak. The summer jam channels Kendrick Lamar vibes with a unique twist.

Ovrkast. returns with ‘Bippers Joint,’ a piano-driven track featuring the choppy flow he showcased on Drake’s Scary Hours Edition. He’s back to focusing on his solo career with this release.

This New Music Friday lineup shows the incredible diversity and talent in today’s hip hop scene, with everything from hardcore drill beats to smooth seduction tracks. Whether you’re into classic vibes or innovative sounds, there’s something fresh for every listener.
