Method Man recently thrilled fans by announcing his collaboration with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre on their much-anticipated album, ‘Missionary.’
In a live chat with Drink Champs at REVOLT WORLD in Atlanta, he shared his excitement about the feature, noting, ‘Every time I work with Dre, I feel like I need a do-over.’
He revealed that his first studio session with Dr. Dre didn’t go as planned, but he got another chance to deliver, saying, ‘The second shot I got is for the Dre and Snoop joint coming up. Woo! He got a lot of fire shit on there, man.’
Despite his enthusiasm, Meth remains his own toughest critic, admitting, ‘And still, I feel like I could have done a little bit more, but I’m always gonna feel that way.’
Dr. Dre, in an earlier interview, had nothing but high praise for ‘Missionary,’ calling it some of his best work ever and highlighting Snoop’s mature lyrics and his own evolved music production.
The legendary producer also let slip that the star-studded album will feature rock icon Sting, alongside Dr. Dre himself, although he’s unsure if his vocal contributions will make the final cut.
