Megan Thee Stallion and Latto have reunited for their second collaboration, giving fans an early listen during a concert in Atlanta.
During her Hot Girl Summer Tour stop in Atlanta, Megan Thee Stallion surprised her fans by bringing out Latto to premiere a remix of Latto’s track, “Sunday Service.” The event followed a brief delay caused by damaged water pipes in the city.
The new remix will be officially released on June 21. The concert was also notable for Megan announcing her upcoming self-titled album, set to arrive later this month.
Social media buzzed with clips from the performance. The Hot Girl Summer Tour’s Twitter page shared, “Megan Thee Stallion performing ‘Sunday Service’ Remix with Latto! — Out June 21st.” A fan account, @MegansStats, also posted, “Megan Thee Stallion & Latto performing ‘Sunday Service (Remix)’ tonight at the Hot Girl Summer Tour in Atlanta!!”
This collaboration comes on the heels of Latto publicly supporting Megan in her feud with Nicki Minaj earlier this year. Megan had posted a clip of her diss track “Hiss” on Instagram, to which Latto responded, “U making us proud Meg [star-eyed emoji].”
Latto and Megan’s tensions with Nicki Minaj have been ongoing. Nicki’s track “FTCU” took shots at both artists, and Latto responded in the original version of “Sunday Service.” This back-and-forth dates back to a social media dispute in 2022 over Grammy categories.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of the “Sunday Service” remix on June 21, as well as Megan Thee Stallion’s new album later this month.
