Lucky Daye gave fans more than just music during his latest concert at Radio City Music Hall.
The R&B star created a buzz when he shared a steamy onstage moment with Melyssa Ford, a co-host from Joe Budden’s show. Lucky Daye serenaded Ford as she sat on a stool, even grabbing her hand and placing it on his stomach. Clearly enjoying the interaction, Ford later posted the footage on Instagram with the caption: “This was not on my bingo card but HOOTIE F**KING HOOOOOO!!!🫣🤭😝 @iamluckydaye at #radiocitymusichall Me & the boys had a slice tonite! @joebudden @emannymusic.”
Fans were quick to speculate how Joe Budden would react to the sizzling clip. While Lucky Daye appeared to enjoy his time with Ford, not everyone in the rap world is on good terms with her. Back in June, Ford reignited a feud with rapper Cam’ron after he took shots at her in a freestyle. Rapping over Black Rob’s “Whoa!”, Cam’ron accused Ford of calling music executives Kevin Liles and Steve Stoute for support in their spat. He rapped: “Melyssa Ford called Kevin Liles/ Then Steve Stoute, what they gonna do? I’m Mr. Giles/ We good, boo, Killa feeling better now/ But don’t ever put my name near the word,” notably leaving out the word “pedophile.”
Ford didn’t take this lightly and fired back on X, formerly known as Twitter, stating: “A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth even gets out of bed and puts its pants on.” She further claimed, “That [ninja emoji] is lying. I didn’t call anyone to deal with that bullsh** And he’s still talking about it 6 months later. It’s giving… [thinking emojis].”
The tension between Cam’ron and Ford began late last year following a controversial story Cam’ron shared on his show. Ford had questioned whether there might have been underage girls involved in a brothel visit Cam’ron mentioned. In response, Cam’ron issued a stern warning: “Tread lightly. Be careful ’cause I’ll tell you one thing: I know a lot of people at ICE [Immigration and Customs Enforcement]. I’ll have you escorted back up across the border.”
