Lil Yachty’s popular podcast, ‘A Safe Place,’ might have aired its final episode if recent comments from co-host MitchGoneMad are to be believed.
On September 28, a fan on X (formerly Twitter) asked MitchGoneMad to “please bring the podcast back.” Mitch responded cryptically, saying, “ngl i think bro rolling up that podcast in a backwood as we speak 💀,” hinting at the show’s end.
The 26th episode, which featured Key Glock as a guest, was published on YouTube on August 21 and appeared on digital streaming platforms (DSPs) the following day. Prior to this unexplained hiatus, episodes were released consistently every two weeks.
According to HotNewHipHop, the break followed a heated argument during the last episode in which MitchGoneMad and Lil Yachty each took credit for the other’s success.
Meanwhile, Lil Yachty has found himself caught up in various public conflicts. He has recently been at odds with Drake, Big Sean, and most notably, his former artist Karrahbooo.
In August, Yachty and Karrah traded barbs online, with Yachty accusing her of being verbally abusive to his bodyguard and claiming he wrote all of her raps. Karrahbooo fired back, denying Yachty’s claims and accusing him of bullying her.
On her Instagram Story, Karrahbooo posted, “I’ll never forget this feeling, this chapter of my life. i’ll never be the same, I’ll never forget who wasn’t there for me.” She expressed her frustration about being publicly bullied and vowed to move forward despite the challenges.
The future of ‘A Safe Place’ remains uncertain as fans speculate if the podcast will ever return. Lil Yachty’s public spats and personal conflicts have only added to the intrigue surrounding the show’s abrupt hiatus.
