Lil Pump has made a bold declaration – if Kamala Harris wins the presidency, he’s out of here!
The controversial rapper and enthusiastic Donald Trump supporter took to Instagram Stories on Thursday, August 8, to vent his frustrations with the current vice president. He stated, ‘I swear on my dad’s grave, if this stupid-ass bitch Kamala Harris wins the fucking election, I’m moving out of America, boy. I swear on everything.’
His social media rant didn’t stop there. Later that day on X (formerly Twitter), he escalated his criticism, announcing that he plans to perform a diss track targeting both Harris and President Joe Biden at Trump’s next rally. ‘I will be performing the joe Biden kamal Harris diss track at the next trump rally,’ he tweeted.
This isn’t the first time Pump has attacked Vice President Harris. In late July, he questioned her racial identity, suggesting she would replace Biden in the upcoming election. He posted, ‘Kamala Harris isn’t even black… she’s Indian,’ referencing unfounded claims circulated by political opponents. Pump continued, ‘She locked up over 1,500 people for weed-related crimes and then laughed about it years later. The worst VP in American History. Trump 2024.’
However, the Poynter Institute labeled Pump’s remarks about Harris’ race as ‘wrong or missing context.’ Harris has an African American father from Jamaica and an Indian mother. According to a profile in the Washington Post, Harris ‘grew up embracing her Indian culture, but living a proudly African American life.’
Furthermore, while Harris did preside over more than 1,900 marijuana convictions during her time as District Attorney of San Francisco, the majority of those convicted did not serve time in prison. Pump’s claim that she laughed about these convictions is also incorrect – she was joking about her own marijuana use in an interview on The Breakfast Club, not about enforcing the law.
Meanwhile, Lil Pump has shown his loyalty to Donald Trump in other ways. In January, he revealed a tattoo of Trump’s infamous mugshot, taken after Trump’s arrest on racketeering charges in 2023. The tattoo features the former president’s scowling face with the caption ‘MAGA.’
Lil Pump’s outspoken support for Trump and his harsh criticisms of Kamala Harris continue to spark controversy. Whether he will stay true to his promise remains to be seen.
