During a recent livestream with Kai Cenat, Kodak Black’s alarming behavior left fans worried for his well-being.
The rapper appeared visibly incoherent and at one point, shocked viewers by seemingly ‘trickshotting’ a pill before collapsing to the floor.
His actions on the stream, which is part of Cenat’s intense 30-day ‘Mafiathon,’ showed Kodak sweating excessively and rambling, leaving the audience concerned about his state of mind.
In a compilation of moments from the stream shared on Twitter, Kodak’s ‘tweaking’ behavior was highlighted, increasing fans’ worries.
This public display of erratic behavior isn’t Kodak’s first brush with substance struggles. Back in April, he openly discussed his addiction to Percocet, revealing a past consumption of dozens of pills daily before gaining control over his habit.
Kodak had shared in an Instagram Live session that at his worst, he was chewing a significant number of Percocets a day. ‘I am proud of myself,’ he expressed, ‘I’ve never been this happy in my life.’
He described his addiction as reaching an extreme, consuming at least 40 to 100 Percocets daily until a turning point.
Despite these past admissions and efforts towards sobriety, Kodak’s recent actions suggest a possible relapse. In July, he had already shown signs of slipping when he filmed himself taking multiple pills.
Even though he has expressed regret for certain lyrics in ‘Super Gremlin,’ which reference Percocet use, and vowed not to perform it again, the struggle seems ongoing.
He candidly explained his initial mindset when writing the song, acknowledging the impact these lyrics might have on listeners and advising against following in his past footsteps.
Kodak emphasized his wish for others to learn from his journey and not consider pill consumption as something trivial or acceptable. However, the battle appears to be difficult, as evidenced by recent events.
Kodak Black’s unsettling actions on Kai Cenat’s livestream serve as a stark reminder of his ongoing struggles with addiction.
