Kash Doll has called out a man known as the “unofficial mayor of Brookhaven” over comments he made after she was the victim of a home invasion in the Atlanta suburb.
The Detroit native’s Instagram video shared the harrowing experience of defending her home and the injustices faced afterward.
Home Invasion Incident
In an emotional Instagram video, Kash Doll recounted a frightening home invasion at her Atlanta residence. Her partner, Tracy T, managed to scare off the intruders, who attempted to rob them.
Kash Doll expressed her relief that her family emerged unscathed, thanks to Tracy T’s quick actions. The police apprehended the suspects involved.
Community Leader’s Shocking Claims
Kash Doll disclosed that Ronnie Mayers, a known community leader, accused her of running a “drug house.” He made these claims to local news, citing the traffic and presence of successful Black individuals at her home.
Mayers’ statements have sparked outrage, especially considering Kash Doll’s efforts and accomplishments. She is one of the few Black residents in her neighborhood.
Social Media Outburst
Kash Doll took to social media to address Mayers’ accusations. She emphasized how the claims undermine her hard work and success.
“The sacrifices I make, how hard I work, everything that I do; for you to just associate me with drugs, just because I’m young, Black and successful. That’s crazy!” she stated.
Police and Media Involvement
The Georgia Bureau of Investigations informed local news outlets about the attempted home invasion. Kash Doll saw four armed men inside her home through surveillance cameras.
Tracy T confronted the intruders, resulting in a shootout. The suspects fled in a Lexus, leading to a police chase and subsequent arrests.
Suspects Apprehended
The suspects, identified as Albert Eugene Burns, Davion Harper, and Tyson Kamari Kirksey, were taken into custody. Another suspect remains at large.
Burns was shot by police during the pursuit and taken to the hospital. The vehicle involved crashed in a neighboring city before the arrests.
Lack of Public Statements
Neither the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Fox 5 News, Atlanta News First, nor WSB-TV included statements from Ronnie Mayers on the incident.
As of now, no further public statements from Mayers have been located, leaving the community without his official response.
Kash Doll’s Call for Justice
Kash Doll’s ordeal highlights broader issues of racial profiling and discrimination faced by successful Black individuals.
She continues to push back against the unfounded claims, seeking justice and recognition for her hard-earned success.
Kash Doll’s experience underscores the harsh realities of racial profiling and the need for stronger community support.
By sharing her story, she hopes to shed light on the injustices faced by Black individuals in prominent positions.
