Julio Foolio’s Instagram page has vowed to ‘shock the world’ with another spooky post. Whoever is controlling the late rapper’s account shared an ominous Instagram Story on Thursday, July 4, more than a week after the Florida rapper was tragically shot and killed.
The post showcased a close-up of Foolio’s eye-catching, diamond-encrusted watch and bracelet alongside a haunting message: ‘THE LIFE OF A DEMI GOD [devil emoji] You can NEVER KILL A DEMI GOD [devil emoji].’ It continued, ‘The power of VOODOO is real and the WORLD will be shocked VERY SOON mark these words.’
Earlier in the month, Foolio’s account had shared a video clip of him declaring he was a ‘Demigod’ who could never die. This isn’t the first time posthumous messages have unnerved his fans.
The story took a tragic turn when Charles Jones II, known as Julio Foolio, was fatally shot on June 23. He had been celebrating his 26th birthday at a Holiday Inn in Tampa, Florida, when the ambush occurred. ‘What we have learned, and this is early in the investigation, two cars were shot at,’ said Tampa Police Department public information officer Joneé Lewis.
Further confirming the incident, Lewis said in a press release, ‘The victim in this morning’s shooting is believed to be Charles Jones. Positive identification is pending confirmation from the Medical Examiner’s Office.’ Three other people were also injured but are expected to recover.
In the wake of her son’s murder, Foolio’s mother, Sandrikas, announced plans to produce a documentary about him. On Instagram, she posted, ‘RIP Son … Charles Jones II ‘Foolio’. The ‘Real’ Life Story Documentary Coming Soon.’ She explained that she knows the ‘Truths from the Fakes’ and emphasized her unique perspective as his mother.
