Joe Budden has taken direct aim at rapper and Trump supporter Lil Pump over his continued adoration of the former President.
In a clip from the Joe Budden Podcast that emerged on August 15, 2024, the rapper-turned-media-personality questioned how Lil Pump still manages to find his way into the news. Budden didn’t hold back, saying, ‘I still don’t know why he’s a thing. Why is he a thing? Like, the internet be making people things, and then it be 10, 15 years and I still don’t know why people … I don’t know the song, the movie. I just think of a shit stain. A white shit stain. I’ve never seen him not look shit stain-ish.’
This rant came just days after Lil Pump announced he’ll be releasing a new song in support of Donald Trump. The controversial rapper took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his decision to scrap a planned diss song aimed at Kamala Harris. Instead, he’s now focusing his efforts on supporting Trump. He posted, ‘[N]ot dropping a diss song[.] I know some ppl wanted it but it would hurt what we are fighting for which is to get President Trump in office. Can’t stoop down to the liberals level. IM DROPPING A PRO TRUMP SONG WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE TRUMP TEAM!! YES THIS IS BIG!! MAGA [American flag emoji].’
This ongoing feud between the two isn’t new. Back in January, Lil Pump called out Budden for ‘harassing women’ on Instagram Live. Pump said, ‘I don’t respect a guy who fucking hits women. Fuck Joe Budden ’cause you literally harass women. Why the fuck is you harassing women, hoe-ass n-gga?! Your ass should burn in hell, cuz. I’m ready to crash out about this shit. Don’t hit women, don’t harass women. What the fuck is wrong with you? Go hit a guy. Come at me, n-gga. Let’s go. Let’s crash out together. What you wanna do?’
Pump didn’t stop there. He mocked Budden over his 2003 breakout hit ‘Pump It Up’ and even threatened violence. He said, ‘Your only song was ‘Pump It Up.’ Lil’ weird-ass jit. I’ll slap the fuck out of you and your bald-ass head. Fuck wrong with you, jit?’ Pump then doubled down on the threats by announcing, ‘And guess what? I’m flying to New York next week, n-gga. We can crash out,’ showing how serious he is about this beef.
The back-and-forth between Joe Budden and Lil Pump shows no signs of slowing down. As the tensions rise, it’s clear their feud is far from over.
