In a heated exchange typical of their longstanding rivalry, Ja Rule has taken aim at 50 Cent, dismissing the rapper’s claim that he purchased rows of seats at a Ja Rule concert to leave them conspicuously empty.

According to 50 Cent, during a chat with Big Boy, he allegedly bought the first four rows of a Ja Rule concert. “They were cheap tickets,” 50 Cent explained, adding that the tickets were available on StubHub and claiming it wasn’t a big expense for him.

50 Cent, known for his cheeky commentary, further remarked that he wanted Ja Rule to feel the impact of performing to an empty space, implying it was his way of messing with Ja. “I’ve bought things that mean less to me,” he stated, “That was fun, watching the show and seeing the spaces are empty.”

However, Ja Rule was not amused by these antics. On December 29, he took to the platform X (formerly Twitter) to voice his disbelief. He vented, calling out 50 Cent as a “fat fucking liar” and questioning the authenticity of his claims.

Ja Rule challenged anyone to provide evidence of this alleged incident. “I got 10k for ANYONE who can produce this footage,” he tweeted, emphasizing his skepticism by asking for specifics about the show in question.

This isn’t the first time Ja Rule has disputed 50 Cent’s version of the events. Back in 2019, after similar comments from 50, Ja Rule called him a “pathological LIAR” and promised money to anyone who had proof of the so-called empty concert.

Ja Rule expressed his incredulity further in past conversations, poking holes in the logic of leaving a venue empty. He noted that it would not benefit the venue to have empty seats. “It’s the dumbest shit ever,” he exclaimed, reiterating that the scenario simply didn’t happen.

The banter between the two has been one-sided, according to Ja Rule, who previously mentioned in interviews that 50 Cent seems to bear the brunt of this ongoing beef. Yet, the colorful exchanges continue to entertain fans on social media.

The battle between Ja Rule and 50 Cent continues to heat up, with both artists unwavering in their positions. While 50 Cent claims his alleged antics were ‘fun,’ Ja Rule remains adamant that it’s all make-believe, poking fun at the very idea.
