Gunna’s taking his fitness game up a notch. The Atlanta rapper recently hit the training facility of the New England Patriots and worked out like a pro NFL player.
In a video circulating online, Gunna is seen arriving at the Patriots’ official facility, where he jumps into a rigorous workout. He does core exercises, dumbbell rows, and even catches footballs out on the practice field.
But that’s not the only arena where Gunna is making moves. The rapper is also about to launch his debut clothing line, ‘P by Gunna,’ in collaboration with BoohooMAN. Fans have already caught a sneak peek of the unisex collection on Instagram, featuring both men and women modeling the pieces. The line officially drops on June 5.
On the music front, Gunna released his latest album ‘One Of Wun’ in May. The album has done well, climbing to No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart, right behind Taylor Swift’s ‘The Tortured Poets Department.’ With 91,000 equivalent album units, it’s his sixth time in the top five. Even so, Gunna had higher expectations for its performance.
Talking to TMZ in April, the rapper confidently predicted that ‘One Of Wun’ would top the charts. ‘For sure,’ he said. ‘The album One of Wun — it’s number one.’ He also believed it would surpass his 2023 project ‘A Gift & A Curse,’ which earned critical acclaim and was named HipHopDX’s Biggest Comeback of 2023. ‘For sure,’ he reiterated.
HipHopDX’s Andy Bustard praised Gunna’s resilience, writing, ‘For a while, many doubted that Gunna would be able to climb his way back to the heights he achieved just 11 months prior… With the release of his third album A Gift & A Curse… Gunna silenced the critics and proved that not even snitching allegations can drown the Drip King.’
Gunna is clearly not resting on his laurels, whether it’s in the gym, on the music charts, or in the fashion world. His relentless drive continues to push boundaries and set new standards.
