Future fans, it’s time to get excited! The Atlanta rapper has officially revealed on Instagram that ‘Mixtape Pluto’ will drop next Friday, September 20.
Future shared the mixtape’s cover art, featuring the iconic Dungeon Family house with glowing purple lights, reminiscent of his early days in the hip-hop scene.
The house in the cover art holds significant memories for Future; it’s where groups like OutKast and Goodie Mob started their journey.
In a nostalgic Instagram post, he captioned, ‘F*** the publicity I got this out the mud,’ showcasing his roots and hustle.
Alongside the announcement, Future teased a new track, ‘Too Fast,’ and hinted at a collaboration with Travis Scott.
Fans can also get their hands on pre-order bundles, which include limited edition t-shirts, CDs, and vinyl in both black and green.
Future has been building anticipation for ‘Mixtape Pluto’ for a while, even hinting at Pharrell’s involvement in the project.
Although the mixtape was initially expected to release on May 10, it was delayed, leaving fans eagerly waiting.
Future had previously taken a playful dig at an unnamed rival, interpreted by many as aimed at Gunna, but it was later clarified as promotion for another track with Tee Grizzley.
This mixtape will be Future’s third full-length release of 2024, following his successful joint albums with Metro Boomin, both of which topped the Billboard 200.
Future’s much-anticipated ‘Mixtape Pluto’ is set to make waves in the hip-hop world on September 20.
