As fans and loved ones continue to mourn the tragic death of Foolio, investigators have arrested four individuals connected to the murder. The Jacksonville rapper was shot at a Tampa Holiday Inn in June while celebrating his 26th birthday with friends.
Sean Gathright, Isaiah Chance Jr., Alicia Andrews, and Rashad Murphy are in custody for their alleged involvement, and police are still hunting for a fifth suspect. Despite facing serious charges, one of them, Isaiah Chance Jr., recently hinted at his release on social media.
Chance Jr. took to his Instagram story with a strange message: “I miss y’all and I miss the [world]. I’ll be home soon.” With a first-degree murder charge and high-quality surveillance footage against him, Foolio’s fans find his claim unlikely.
However, this isn’t the only odd social media activity since Foolio’s death. Immediately after his death confirmation, his Instagram account began posting cryptic messages, confusing his supporters. The late rapper’s mother, Sandrikas Mays, has now taken over the account.
Mays explained, “I’m running his account now. Before, somebody had his password or whatever, and I’m just able to retrieve it from his phone. Before, I wasn’t running his account. But as of right now, you can see the different stuff on there now, me posting songs. Now, I am running the account.”
As the investigation continues and fans grapple with the loss of Foolio, the actions and claims of those involved remain under scrutiny. The courts will ultimately determine their fate.
