Flavor Flav is not having it with the ‘Daily Mail! Here’s why:
- Public Enemy’s Australian tour gets postponed due to Chuck D’s eye surgery.
- Flavor Flav calls out ‘Daily Mail’ for inaccurate reporting and clickbait tactics.
- Chuck D updates fans about his eye issues, emphasizing health over wealth.
- Flavor Flav retains his humor despite the drama, even dealing with mistaken identity moments.
Flavor Flav has expressed his frustration with the ‘Daily Mail’ over how they reported Public Enemy’s decision to postpone their Australian tour. The legendary group had to push back their shows in Australia because Chuck D needed eye surgery.
Chuck D apologized to fans, saying the surgery was necessary so he could genuinely “rock the house” for them. The group assured ticket holders that their original tickets would be valid for the rescheduled dates.
The ‘Daily Mail’ ran a misleading headline and used a side-by-side image of Flavor Flav and Taylor Swift, which was irrelevant to the news. Flavor Flav took to social media to correct the narrative, accusing the publication of disrespect and clickbait.
Flavor Flav emphasized that Chuck D’s health comes first. He called out the use of Taylor Swift’s picture as clickbait and noted that Public Enemy is in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, adding that they’re “good.”
Chuck D also spoke up on social media, clarifying that he isn’t sick but needs cataract surgery after dealing with two torn retinas this year. He said, “The eye is 64 years old… ish shappens [praying hands emoji].”
Despite the controversy, Flavor Flav showed he hasn’t lost his humor. He recently laughed off a mistaken identity prank by Gerald Huston, who called him ‘Lil Boosie.’ Flavor Flav joked back, saying, “I am his daddy. You want me to be yours too?”
Public Enemy prioritizes health while keeping their sense of humor intact.
