Fivio Foreign isn’t one to shy away from controversy, and his latest social media post proves just that. Over the weekend, the Brooklyn rapper shared a shocking video that left many fans outraged.

In a since-deleted post on X, Fivio uploaded a video showing a man injecting hard drugs. The explicit clip was filmed in the streets, with Fivio and a group of people gathered around, some shouting street slang for heroin like ‘dog food.’ Fivio also took the opportunity to flash his expensive watch for the camera.

The video quickly sparked a wave of backlash on social media. Critics accused the rapper of glorifying drug use. One social media user harshly responded, “Nah you really apart of the problem don’t deflect, DOOOGGGGG FOOODDDDDDDDDD.” Fivio, however, defended himself, stating that the video was a depiction of harsh realities. He argued, “We watch this shit everyday on Documentaries… Don’t get mad at me I ain’t glorying that shit.”

The rapper went on to explain that his intention was to open people’s eyes to the gritty life that many, including himself, strive to escape through their music. He urged critics to stop being mad and instead help make a change. ‘Maybe this ah open yah eyes to why we rap try to get up out this shit.. Or juss get up off yo ass and help clean,’ he wrote.

This isn’t the first time Fivio has sparked controversy. Earlier this month, he revealed plans to ask Donald Trump about his views on the debunked flat Earth theory, which caused quite a stir online. When a fan suggested he ask Trump about aliens, Fivio responded, ‘I was gon ask if the earth flat.. but fucc dat, Im deff asking bout the Aliens.’

The reaction was immediate and brutal. One person commented, ‘This mf is really r-tarded fuck goddam,’ while another quipped, ‘It all makes sense now. You’re voting for Trump because you’re mentally incompetent!!!!’ A third added, ‘Fivi please do not ask that man about no damn flat earth.’

Whether it’s sharing graphic videos or pondering bizarre questions, Fivio Foreign knows how to keep people talking. As he continues to navigate the fine line between shock value and social commentary, one thing is clear: he’s not backing down anytime soon.
