Drake and Lil Yachty’s leaked track ‘Super Soak’ is officially coming out, but with a surprising change. Here’s what you need to know about this highly anticipated release:

Drake’s collaboration with Lil Yachty, titled ‘Super Soak,’ which leaked recently, is set to officially release soon. However, there’s one major twist: Lil Yachty won’t be featured in the final version of the track.

According to Akademiks, who shared the scoop on his Rumble stream, the song will release with a music video, but it will exclude Lil Yachty, even though it was initially meant for his project.

Drake’s move to release the track without Yachty is causing some confusion among fans, especially since the song was originally intended for Yachty’s ‘Concrete Boys’ project and was sent by Drake himself.

The song first made waves when streamer Kai Cenat premiered it, leading to some drama. Soulja Boy, who thought a line in the song was a diss aimed at him, ranted on Instagram Live, telling Drake, “This your first and only warning. If you’re trying to disrespect me, I’m on yo ass, boy.”

Although Soulja Boy and Drake have since cleared the air, the controversy didn’t end there. Lil Yachty admitted they couldn’t clear the sample from Mr. Hotspot’s song ‘Goodness Gracious.’ Despite this, Yachty leaked the song, hoping to profit from performances.

Mr. Hotspot, the owner of the sampled song, initially refused the clearance due to religious reasons. He later offered a compromise: Drake and Yachty could use the sample if they cleaned up the lyrics to make ‘Super Soak’ more family-friendly.

It’s still unclear if the final release of ‘Super Soak’ will comply with Mr. Hotspot’s request, leaving fans eager to hear the sanitized version and see how it differs from the leaked one.

‘Super Soak’ is set to make a splash, even without Lil Yachty, and fans are curious about the final version.
