Drake has seemingly thrown a subtle jab at ScHoolboy Q after ScHoolboy’s Toronto show was unexpectedly canceled.

The TDE rapper was slated to perform at History, a venue co-owned by Drake, but announced a day before that the show was canceled for reasons beyond his control.

Hours later, Drake posted a mirror selfie on Instagram, wearing blue slides, hinting at ScHoolboy Q’s recent song of the same name. He was also seen rocking a ‘Free Yayo’ t-shirt, mirroring the one Eminem wore at the 2003 Grammy Awards when the G-Unit rapper was incarcerated.

Tony Yayo had recently warned Drake’s enemies about traveling to Canada, stating, ‘You don’t wanna say something about Drake and now you can’t go to Canada… It could be a fan that punch you in the head.’

Drake has shown support for G-Unit amid his feud with Kendrick Lamar, featuring their iconic spinner chain in a video and using DJ Whoo Kid’s mixtape tag in a song introduction.

ScHoolboy Q blamed the cancellation on the ongoing feud between Drake and his former TDE labelmate, Kendrick Lamar. He claimed on social media that Canadian police were restricting TDE performances.

When a fan suggested the cancellation might prevent potential attacks on ScHoolboy in Toronto, he retorted, ‘I don’t tHink u know wHo I am.’

However, Q later clarified, ‘I neva said ‘ima kill sumbody’ im saying if we wanted to crack it off we could’ve smH,’ while adding he’s now a ‘soccer dad.’

Meanwhile, Toronto has been hit with extreme weather, causing floods and power outages. Even Drake’s $100 million mansion suffered extensive damage. Friend turned foe, Rick Ross, seemed to delight in the news.

The drama continues as fans and artists navigate complex relationships and unexpected twists in the hip-hop world.
