Drake has found himself the target of a fiery freestyle by Baby Tate, who took direct aim at him over Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘BOA’ beat.

Baby Tate, the daughter of singer Dionne Farris, has been making waves with her recent freestyles, dropping a new one every Tuesday in June to celebrate Pride month. In her latest release on June 4, she didn’t hold back, spitting, ‘I like freaky ass n-ggas, but not like Mr. Graham. Don’t buy Baby Tate on Temu, lot of these bitches a scam.’

Drake isn’t new to being the butt of jokes about his alleged sexual behaviors. Just a day after Tate’s freestyle, on June 5, he received several Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards nominations, including Favorite Male Artist, where he’s up against Post Malone, Travis Scott, Usher, and The Weeknd.

The internet wasn’t kind, with many mocking the situation. One commentator quipped, ‘The KIDS CHOICE AWARDS is the last place Drake needs to be.’ Another added, ‘WHO UP FOR THE WHAT CHOICE AWARDS!?’ while sharing a snippet of Kendrick Lamar’s diss track ‘Meet the Grahams.’ A third person noted, ‘I mean… the jokes write itself.’ Someone even edited a photo of Nickelodeon’s studios marked with red dots from a sex predator app, referencing K. Dot’s artwork for ‘Not Like Us.’

Drake has strongly denied these allegations, addressing them in his response track ‘The Heart Part 6.’ He rapped, ‘I never been with no one underage but now I understand why this the angle that you really mess with/ Just for clarity, I feel disgusted, I’m too respected/ If I was fucking young girls, I promise I’d have been arrested/ I’m way too famous for this shit you just suggested.’ He further added, ‘Only fuckin’ with Whitneys, not Millie Bobby Browns, I’d never look twice at no teenager.’

While Drake is no stranger to controversy, the combination of Baby Tate’s freestyle and the ongoing online jabs highlights the complex and often harsh landscape of public opinion and internet culture.
