Drake’s OVO clothing line has decided to stop using real fur, and animal rights group PETA is cheering with a sweet surprise.

PETA sent the Canadian rapper a box of vegan chocolate bunnies to thank him for the decision.

This move from Drake’s brand, October’s Very Own (OVO), came after a huge push from PETA and a whopping 100,000 emails from supporters pleading for a fur-free product line.

PETA praised OVO’s choice, aligning it with many other fashion businesses turning away from the cruel fur industry. Fur, according to PETA, belongs to the animals, not on clothes or accessories.

PETA took to social media, stating, “🎉 @Drake‘s clothing company, @welcomeOVO, ditched fur 🎉” and celebrated with the bunny-shaped chocolates 🐰.

ARapper and designer Pharrell Williams had a different encounter, facing protestors at the premiere of his movie ‘Piece by Piece’, due to Louis Vuitton’s continued use of fur.

A protestor called out Pharrell: “Stop torturing animals!” He responded calmly, acknowledging her point and requested the crowd to applaud her courage.

Despite Pharrell’s response, Louis Vuitton has yet to change its fur policy, leading to ongoing tensions with animal rights activists.

Previously, Pharrell faced backlash over a $1 million Louis Vuitton bag made from crocodile skin.

With OVO’s decision, Drake gains favor with activists, marking a notable shift in the fashion industry’s stance on animal cruelty.
