Childish Gambino has humorously clapped back at his critics with a sneak peek of a new track on social media.

On TikTok, Childish Gambino, also known as Donald Glover, shared a clip in which a person criticizes him, saying, ‘Here are the reasons I don’t fuck with Donald Glover.’ The video then cuts to Glover looking fed up while a new song plays in the background with the biting lyrics, ‘He’s finding out that nobody gives a fuck.’

Earlier in the week, Gambino had posted a longer snippet of the song, tentatively titled ‘Lithonia (Nobody Gives a Fuck),’ which showcases his singing style reminiscent of his ‘Awaken, My Love!’ album. This marks a departure from his earlier, more rap-focused work.

The track is expected to feature on his forthcoming album, ‘Bando Stone in the New World,’ set to be his second release of 2024. His previous album, ‘Atavista,’ released the previous month, is touted as the finished version of his 2020 LP ‘3.15.20,’ which had been pulled from streaming platforms. ‘Atavista’ features slight changes such as an updated tracklist, remixed songs, and new vocals from artists like Young Nudy and Summer Walker, alongside previous collaborators including 21 Savage and Ariana Grande.

‘Bando Stone in the New World’ is anticipated to be Gambino’s final album under his rap moniker and will serve as the soundtrack for an upcoming film of the same name that he is working on.

In addition to the new album, Gambino has announced a massive world tour starting in August 2024 and running through February 2025. He will be joined by Willow Smith and Amaarae. The tour, named ‘The New World Tour,’ will begin on August 11 in Oklahoma City and cover major cities across North America, Europe, and, eventually, Australia and New Zealand.

In related news, it has been confirmed that Donald Glover will not return for the second season of ‘Mr & Mrs Smith,’ a show that has received substantial praise and a renewal from Amazon Prime Video.

Childish Gambino’s new track and upcoming projects highlight his dynamic artistry and playful response to criticism. Fans can look forward to his final album and a global tour that promises to be an exciting journey.
