Cardi B’s latest appearance at Hollywood Unlocked’s annual Impact Awards has fans buzzing with pregnancy rumors.
Wearing an oversized black blazer and a floor-length sheer skirt, Cardi B took to the stage at the Impact Awards on Friday night to accept the “Inspiration” accolade. Her impassioned speech not only thanked Jason Lee for the honor but also called out her haters.
Soon after, social media was ablaze with speculation that Cardi B might be expecting another child with her husband, Offset. One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “Cardi b is currently roughly 5 months pregnant. She won’t drop the album in the next two months because she will be full-blown pregnant and can’t tour. She will drop the album in 4 months right before she delivers then go on tour 2 months post-partum.” Another chimed in with, “Cardi is so annoying wtf are you doing pregnant when cheating allegations were just a few months ago stop pissing me awfffffffff.”
In her acceptance speech, Cardi B said, “I just want to say thank you, Jason [Lee], so much for this award. I’m really my biggest critic, and I always say this, ‘Nobody has it harder than in the industry and in every genre than a female rapper, and I’m going to tell you why. You have to have the best verse. Not only that, you have to kill the charts. On top of that, your personal life has to be perfect, or then the opp b***hes are going to use that against you.”
Although Cardi B hasn’t addressed the pregnancy rumors directly, she remains very active on social media. Over the weekend, she teased fans about the possibility of releasing a Spanish album, saying on her Instagram Story, “Ok after my English album.”
