Bun B shared his thoughts on why he thinks Houston outranks Atlanta in women and food during a recent podcast appearance.

  • In an interview with the Kickin’ It With The OGs podcast, Bun B weighed the pros and cons of living in Houston and Atlanta.
  • He believes Houston boasts better-looking women compared to Atlanta.
  • The rapper criticized Atlanta’s restaurant scene for lacking home-cooked vibes.
  • Bun B also noted that while Houston offers a great dining experience, the quality of the food backs it up.

During his appearance on the Kickin’ It With The OGs podcast, Bun B didn’t hold back when discussing how Houston and Atlanta stack up against each other. He was asked to compare the two cities along the lines of opportunities, quality of life, and even traffic.

When specifically asked which city he thought was better, Bun B confidently picked Houston. He even went as far as to say that Houston has better-looking women than Atlanta, adding, “We do have better-looking women.”

Bun B criticized Atlanta’s restaurant scene, arguing that it is too focused on creating an experience rather than delivering quality food. “Y’all got great restaurants with ambiance and experience and all of that. But ain’t nobody mama cooking in y’all shit,” he remarked.

He continued to elaborate on the shortcomings of Atlanta’s dining experience, saying that while the city has some good wings and mac & cheese, it lacks the soul food essence he values.

In contrast, Bun B praised Houston’s food scene not only for its ambiance but also for the quality of the food. “Our food can back it up,” he said, mentioning that many people in Houston have deep roots in Louisiana, which contributes to the authentic flavors.

Interestingly, the rapper’s comments come on the heels of a recent statement by Lil Yachty, who claimed that Atlanta is the trendsetter for current fashion styles in hip hop. This has sparked debates among other artists, including Juelz Santana and Fivio Foreign.

Lil Yachty’s comments caused a stir, with Juelz Santana defending New York’s influence on fashion while Fivio Foreign hit back on social media. Killer Mike also weighed in, acknowledging Atlanta’s long-standing impact on hip hop fashion.

In the ongoing rivalry between Houston and Atlanta, Bun B makes a compelling case for his hometown.
