Boosie Badazz is in celebration mode after his most recent gun charge was dismissed in San Diego court. The Baton Rouge rapper was initially arrested in 2023 while exiting a courtroom following a separate gun case dismissal. As he stepped out, the feds nabbed him again, this time for multiple gun charges including felony possession of a firearm and transporting firearms across highways.
The legal troubles seemed endless for Boosie, but his luck turned around with a courtroom victory on July 12. “Boosie cried and said he’s going to take his family on vacation to celebrate,” reported Meghann Cuniff, sharing a photo of the rapper with his lawyer, Meghan Blanco.
Boosie didn’t hold back his gratitude. “Boosie had a lot to say after court. He’s thankful to his lawyers and also Steven ‘Shorty’ Duarte, the felon who appealed his gun conviction and prompted the 9th Circuit ruling that led to Boosie’s charge being dismissed. Boosie wants to hook Shorty up.”

A woman accused him of having bad breath and claimed she was kicked out of a club for saying so. In a video she posted on social media, she shared her side of the story. “He got mad, so he sent security up there,” she said. “They come to get me [and] I’m like, ‘Dang.’ Look how small [I am]. I didn’t even do anything.”
