A$AP Rocky is gearing up to respond to Drake’s diss track “Family Matters” on his much-anticipated fourth album, “Don’t Be Dumb,” according to Hot 97’s DJ Kast One.

DJ Kast One spilled the beans on Hot 97, revealing some juicy details about Rocky’s upcoming album, including his plans to address his ongoing feud with Drake. After attending a listening event for “Don’t Be Dumb,” Kast One mentioned, “I heard A$AP Rocky definitely addressing a lot of the main topics that are happening out there right now. Let’s just say the list keeps going on strong.”

When host Ebro Darden asked if Rocky is still on Drake’s hit list, Kast One replied, “Oh, he’s gonna be cemented on the list after this.”

The album also features a stellar guest appearance by legendary rapper Slick Rick, described by Kast One as “amazing.” Music fans can look forward to the album’s release on August 30.

The beef between Drake and A$AP Rocky has been simmering for a while. It all started when Drake took a jab at Rocky’s girlfriend, Rihanna, in his song “Fear of Heights.” He rapped, “Why they make it sound like I’m still hung up on you? / That could never be / Gyal can’t run me / Better him than me / Better it’s not me.”

Drake didn’t stop there. He also referenced Rihanna’s 2016 album, ANTI, with lines like, “I’m anti, I’m anti / Yeah, and the sex was average with you / Yeah, I’m anti ’cause I had it with you.”

A$AP Rocky didn’t take this lying down. He fired back on Kid Cudi’s “WOW” with the line, “These n-ggas can’t stomach me, gotta go get a mandrake.”

Rocky added more fuel to the fire on Metro Boomin and Future’s “Show of Hands,” claiming, “N-ggas swear they bitch the baddest, I just bagged the worst one / N-ggas in they feelings over women, what, you hurt or somethin’? / I smashed before you birthed son, Flacko hit it first, son.”

The drama escalated when Rocky seemed to throw shade at Drake’s “For All the Dogs” with the line, “Still don’ trust you, it’s always us, never them / Heard you dropped your latest shit / Funny how it just came and went (Ha ha ha).”

Drake then clapped back with his diss track “Family Matters,” addressing Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, and The Weeknd. He spit, “Rakim talkin’ shit again / Gassed ’cause you hit my BM first / N-gga do the math, who I was hitting then.” He added more flames with, “Smoking Fenty ’bout they shoulda put you on the first one you tryna get it in.”

With “Don’t Be Dumb” set to drop on August 30, fans are eagerly waiting to see how A$AP Rocky will respond to Drake. One thing is for sure: this musical feud is far from over.
