According to 50, the feud persists because Rick Ross needs to mention him to get the attention he craves. “Nothing else works for him,” he explained. “Outside of mentioning me. When things get bad, he mentions me, it gets covered… I get covered across the board, they get covered on the hip-hop blogs. It is what it is.”
The rapper didn’t stop there; he also took a jab at Ross’s financial status. “What kind of rich n***a cut his own grass?” he wondered aloud. “You tryna save money, n***a?”
Never one to back down, Ross fired back in the comments section of DJ Akademiks’ Instagram. He simply wrote, “Cuban Link,” accompanied by a broken heart emoji. The dig refers to 50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend, Cuban Link, who was seen with Travis Scott shortly after their breakup.
Ross continued to troll 50 Cent on his Instagram Story, making fun of him by saying he would be putting aside his Louis Vuitton shoes for a while in favor of Travis Scott’s. Clearly, the war of words continues.
In the world of hip-hop, feuds can sometimes seem never-ending, and this one is showing no signs of cooling down. Therefore, it appears 50 Cent and Rick Ross will keep taking shots at each other for the foreseeable future.
