The twists and turns in the murder case of rap legend 2Pac continue to unfold.

  • Keefe D, a former Compton Crip, allegedly went undercover to accuse Diddy of being involved in 2Pac’s death.
  • Prosecutors shared details of Keefe’s cooperation with LAPD to gather evidence against Diddy.
  • Keefe claimed Diddy offered $1 million to kill 2Pac and Suge Knight during their infamous feud.
  • Despite denying involvement, Diddy is repeatedly mentioned in legal filings connected to the case.

Keefe D, a key suspect in the murder of 2Pac, reportedly went undercover in a bold attempt to link Diddy to the crime. Prosecutors revealed that Keefe flew to New York with LAPD detectives in 2009 to gather evidence against Diddy and Harlem gangster Eric “Von Zip” Martin.

In an earlier police interview, Keefe claimed Diddy offered him $1 million to kill both Suge Knight and 2Pac during the heated mid-90s feud between Bad Boy and Death Row records. Keefe said he received half of the money through Martin after 2Pac’s 1996 murder.

Prosecutors described Keefe as an ‘active confidential informant’ for the task force initially set up to investigate the murder of Biggie Smalls. Caught trafficking drugs, Keefe allegedly assisted the task force to corroborate the conspiracy to murder 2Pac.

Keefe claimed to meet Martin and his nephew on the street, subsequently visiting Martin’s sister. He reportedly attempted to recruit Martin into his drug activities. However, Martin suggested Keefe work with his nephew instead.

Diddy is named 77 times in the 179-page legal filing. A transcript of Keefe’s interview shows him accusing Diddy of placing a bounty on 2Pac and Suge Knight. When asked by cops if Puffy played a role, Keefe replied, ‘Yeah, I think he did.’

In a summary of a YouTube interview, Keefe said Diddy reached out to him asking if the South Side Crips were responsible for Shakur’s death by questioning, ‘Is that us?’ Keefe proudly confirmed, ‘Yes.’

The intricate filing is part of a move to deny Keefe D’s bail. Meanwhile, Diddy, facing unrelated sexual assault allegations, has denied involvement in 2Pac’s murder, calling Keefe’s story ‘pure fiction.’

Keefe’s bail request was previously denied after concerns that media personality Wack 100 paid $750,000 for an interview. Despite his not guilty plea, Keefe has admitted to being involved in the shooting, notably in his 2019 book, “Compton Street Legend.”

However, Keefe has since retracted his statements about his role in the death of 2Pac, claiming they were untruthful.

The allegations and counterclaims continue, leaving much of the 2Pac murder case enshrouded in mystery.
