Druski is set to blend music and comedy at his Coulda Fest, featuring big names like 21 Savage and Soulja Boy.
The comedian announced on Wednesday, July 24, that the show will take place at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena on September 7. Not just a music fest, it’s also a comedy gala. Druski is pulling all stops to keep everyone entertained.
Heavyweights from the comedy world, including DC Young Fly and Kai Cenat, are on the bill. Music fans can look forward to performances by Waka Flocka Flame, Young Dro, and Travis Porter. Plus, there are promises of still-to-be-named ‘special guests’ to add more excitement.
Druski hasn’t explained why he chose to mix rappers with comedians. However, in an interview with XXL, he shared that rappers make him feel more like a ‘real’ person. ‘I’m a real person, bro. I don’t know. I’m more comfortable around [rap] artists than I am around comedians,’ he said.
He suggested that there might be a competitive edge with fellow comedians, which he doesn’t feel around rappers. ‘I think Coulda Been Records also is one of those things they find so funny that they always want to talk to the CEO,’ he added.
Interestingly, this comfort around rap artists extends even to rapper families. King Harris, son of T.I. and Tiny Harris, recently ended his beef with Druski during Quavo’s Huncho Day celebrity football game. A video showed them laughing and joking, indicating their spat was over.
Tickets for the show are already on sale, so fans better grab them while they can. This event promises to be a unique blend of hilarious comedy and electrifying music.
With a mix of star-studded performances and comedians, Druski’s Coulda Fest is shaping up to be an unforgettable event.
