In a heated response, TDE rapper Ray Vaughn fiercely takes aim at Joey Bada$$ in his new freestyle “Crashout Heritage.”

Ray Vaughn is making waves again, this time over Kendrick Lamar’s iconic “The Heart Pt. 6” beat. His freestyle, “Crashout Heritage,” isn’t pulling any punches—especially towards Joey Bada$$. Released recently, this track is Vaughn’s answer to Joey’s song “The Ruler’s Back,” where Joey seemed to take a jab at the West Coast scene.

Vaughn’s rhymes cut deep. He questions Joey’s sneak disses, pointing out that the only “badass” people recognize is Boosie. Vaughn also warns against confusing acting with actual street life and calls out Joey’s appearance on Soul’s album as being comical. “I hope this message reaches you well,” Vaughn states with a sharp edge.

Unwilling to play nice, Vaughn criticizes public dissing followed by private friendliness. He emphasizes that his crew doesn’t back down, even if it means standing alone, stating “We ain’t doing no budging.” His vivid portrayal of “King Arthurs” as losers adds a colorful insult to his lyrical volley.

Continuing his tirade, Vaughn critiques what he sees as clout chasing, urging his targets to create genuine hits instead of feeding off drama. His words signal a divide, insisting that as long as they have Mustard, they’ll continue to rise, doubling the distance from those who don’t communicate directly.

Tagging Joey Bada$$ on social media with “2025 no sneak dissin, only crashouts,” Vaughn made sure his message was clear. Joey isn’t the only one in Vaughn’s lyrical crosshairs, though. He also targets Tory Lanez, DDG, and podcaster Mal, addressing their controversial actions and collaborations.

Vaughn calls out Tory Lanez for collaborating with DDG from behind bars and controversially addresses the incident involving Megan Thee Stallion. Supporting Tory, despite his ongoing sentence for the shooting, Vaughn states, “Don’t think you shot her, I was prayin’ for your freedom as well.”

Mal is not spared either, with Vaughn threateningly mentioning him in connection to a popular online shopping venue, suggesting violence with a clever wordplay. It’s a bold track, highlighting Vaughn’s determination to call out what he sees as dishonesty and hypocrisy in the music industry.

Ray Vaughn’s “Crashout Heritage” freestyle underscores his commitment to authenticity, drawing a clear line between himself and those he feels don’t measure up. With no responses yet from those he addressed, Vaughn’s track stands as a significant statement in the evolving rap scene.
