The altercation reportedly took place in Harris County, Texas, with Lil Reese being found guilty in mid-October. His expected release is set for February 2029, although he could be eligible for parole by August 2026.

The specifics of the assault remain unclear, but authorities arrested Lil Reese in May, a couple of months after the reported incident. He was initially held on a $60,000 bond.

In recent developments, the rapper was arrested in September following accusations of assaulting his ex-girlfriend. The reported incident took place at a strip club in Houston, where the rapper allegedly tried to kiss her when she refused his advances.

An aggressive confrontation ensued when the woman reportedly rejected him, resulting in Lil Reese allegedly punching her and attempting to strangle her. She told police she feared for her life, and there were witnesses to the attack.

After the altercation, police observed injuries on the woman, and a warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest by the end of September. Lil Reese was taken into custody without bond.
