Megan Thee Stallion’s ongoing legal drama against Milagro Gramz, a blogger known for supporting Tory Lanez, has reached a significant milestone with a trial date set.
Legal affairs reporter Meghann Cuniff revealed court documents indicating that the trial is scheduled for July 21, 2025. However, the possibility of settling the case remains open, though uncertain for now.
Milagro Gramz, the YouTube personality at the center of this lawsuit, is in the process of finalizing her legal team. Currently, she is represented by Michael Hayden, who has ties to Tory Lanez. However, there’s a catch — Hayden is not authorized to practice law in Florida, where this case will be heard. To continue, he’ll need to add a local attorney to the team.
Interestingly, Hayden faced his share of challenges, having failed the California State Bar exam eight times after graduating from an online, non-accredited law school. Nevertheless, his journey of persistence is noteworthy, as he shared on a legal podcast.
Megan’s lawsuit, filed in October, highlights the emotional and economic toll Gramz’s comments on social media have had on her. Megan argues these remarks have damaged her reputation and well-being, emphasizing the ‘negative effect’ they’ve had on her mental and emotional state.
The charges against Gramz are severe, involving promotion of an altered sexual depiction, cyberstalking, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and invasion of privacy. These accusations stem from Gramz allegedly directing followers to a deepfake video of Megan and spreading falsehoods.
Furthermore, the lawsuit addresses Gramz’s alleged role as a ‘paid surrogate’ for Tory Lanez, who is currently serving a sentence for his involvement in shooting Megan in 2020. Gramz is said to have propagated false information to her substantial social media following, acting on Lanez’s behalf.
In response to the legal action, Gramz took to social media, hinting at her own legal counteractions with a cryptic message, ‘Countersuit gone go crazy.’
Adding another layer to this legal saga, Unite the People, Lanez’s nonprofit legal team, has stepped in to support Gramz. The organization has extended their assistance to other influencers or personalities facing similar legal threats.
