In a touching gesture, Sexyy Red took to X to announce her excitement about Big Meech’s return, offering to perform for him without any charge. She tweeted, “Where da welcome home party @ I’m trona perform for da freeski.”
Meanwhile, Meech’s journey isn’t over yet. Transferred to a halfway house, he will serve the rest of his sentence there, set to be released in January 2026. His lawyer, Brittany K. Barnett, expressed joy over his release, highlighting his personal growth while incarcerated.
Big Meech gained significant attention through the STARZ series BMF. With his story being portrayed by his son, Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr., the show harnessed his life story, bringing more fame to Meech even while he was imprisoned.
A significant reduction in his sentence occurred earlier this year, shortening it by 32 months. This was due to Amendment 821, which acknowledged his rehabilitation efforts, including earning a GED and staying out of trouble since 2021.
