Brown began by backing Jay-Z’s reported decision to choose Kendrick Lamar over Lil Wayne for the halftime show, even though the Super Bowl was held in Lil Wayne’s home city. However, it didn’t end there.
The actor launched into an imitation of Lil Wayne’s unique delivery. Brown mocked the rapper’s nasal, mumble-heavy style, questioning, ‘What the f**k is that, bro?’ He laughed off the decision, sarcastically calling it ‘hot.’
Brown’s critique extended to Lil Wayne’s hit ‘A Milli,’ suggesting that it sounds like gibberish. He didn’t hold back, saying, ‘What the f**k was he saying? He’s high. On pills.’ At least he knew the lyrics, he joked.
