Wu-Tang Clan legends took over a retired Staten Island Ferry for a dazzling performance at New York Fashion Week.

  • Method Man, Raekwon, and Ghostface Killah delivered powerful performances on Sunday.
  • The event featured hits like “C.R.E.A.M.” and “Ice Cream”.
  • Questlove handled the turntables with his usual flair.
  • Celebrity guests included Damson Idris, Suni Lee, and Gabrielle Thomas.

Method Man, Raekwon, and Ghostface Killah took fans on a nostalgic trip, performing on a decommissioned Staten Island Ferry for New York Fashion Week. The trio brought the house down with hits like “C.R.E.A.M.” and “Ice Cream”.

Questlove was the DJ for the night, adding his unique touch to the event. Among those enjoying the show were Damson Idris, Olympic gold medalists Suni Lee and Gabrielle Thomas, and other celebrities.

Although Wu-Tang members often pursue individual projects nowadays, they reunited last year for Statik Selektah’s “Unpredictable” featuring Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, and Inspectah Deck.

In another interesting tie to the fashion world, the Hilfiger brand teamed up with DJ Khaled earlier this year for a golf-themed collection featuring designs inspired by Hilfiger’s 1990s styles. These iconic looks were popularized by Hip Hop royalty like Grand Puba, Snoop Dogg, and Aaliyah.

DJ Khaled promoted the collection by sending pieces to his peers, including Fat Joe, Ludacris, and Latto. Fat Joe amusingly suggested getting Grand Puba to soundtrack the ad, while Ludacris enthusiastically reminisced about his high school days when he saw the designs.

Wu-Tang Clan’s performance on the ferry was a memorable highlight of the fashion show, blending music and style seamlessly.
