Boosie Badazz didn’t hold back after the tragic school shooting in Winder, Georgia left four dead and several others injured.
On September 4, Apalachee High School was rocked by violence when Colt Gray, an armed student, entered the premises and fatally shot two 14-year-olds and two teachers. Nine more individuals were hurt but are expected to recover fully.
In response, Boosie Badazz took to social media, making an impassioned plea for the United States to implement a law placing armed snipers in every school to protect children. He argued that the country wastes billions each year that could be used for safety measures in educational institutions.
He vented, ‘We protect sports, entertainment venues, casinos, federal buildings, etc. But we can’t protect our own flesh and blood. #thechildren Calling my baby mamas, ‘I’m thinking home school.’
Meanwhile, Boosie has his own legal battles. He’s seeking a pardon from the next president, whether it’s Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Donald Trump, due to complications in his ongoing gun case. According to Boosie, his case was dismissed, only to be re-indicted later.
Boosie shared, ‘I was sent to prison for 10 years for a 3rd marijuana offense, for being a user. LOL, no rehab, no probation, sent straight to prison. At this point, I need a pardon from whoever wins. @VP @realDonaldTrump.’
Back in July, he accused the prosecutor in his case of being racist after facing re-indictment in a gun case. Although his charges were dismissed initially, he was charged again with possession of a firearm and ammunition by a felon and knowingly possessing a firearm while using a controlled substance.
The indictment indicates that prosecutors are adamant about their allegations, aiming to seize all firearms and ammunition involved. Boosie, who is 41, faces up to 10 years in prison if he’s convicted.
