A$AP Rocky is fed up! Following the unauthorized leak of his new single “Tailor Swif,” the Harlem rapper has decided to move up the release date. Originally set to drop later, it’s coming out this Friday, August 30.

Rocky took to social media, sharing a preview and expressing his frustration: “u dummies leaked it already.” The song had its first appearance back in July 2022 during his Rolling Loud Portugal set, only to be leaked online days later.

The single will be part of his long-awaited album Don’t Be Dumb, marking his first full project in six years since Testing in 2018. Rocky described his frustration over the leaks, explaining, “At this point, I’ve been working on music for six years, but they leak my music and I get over it and say, ‘Fuck it.’

Many fans have been eagerly awaiting Don’t Be Dumb, but the album has been pushed back to an unspecified fall date. Initially planned for release on August 30, the delays haven’t dampened Rocky’s enthusiasm. He called the album “the best he’s ever made,” suggesting a deeper, more mature direction in his work.

The album features notable contributions, including a grim, experimental track called ‘Shroom Cloud,’ which touches on serious global issues. Rocky shared that legendary composer Danny Elfman and producer The Alchemist are among the collaborators, with other big names like Metro Boomin, Tyler, The Creator, Pharrell, Madlib, and Mike Dean also involved.

Rocky even played the album for Tim Burton, hoping the director would create the cover art. Although Burton declined, he expressed admiration for Rocky’s music, saying, ‘Wow! I didn’t know you made that kind of music!’ The endorsement from Burton and other industry giants has fans hyped for the album’s release.

Despite setbacks and leaks, Rocky remains optimistic, focusing on the positive reception and the high-profile collaborations that promise to make Don’t Be Dumb an unforgettable album.

Fans won’t have to wait much longer for “Tailor Swif.” With high-profile collaborations and Rocky’s own endorsement of its quality, Don’t Be Dumb is shaping up to be a monumental release in his career.
