The Compton rapper was attending the wedding of Kid Red and Kimora Larue when he lost his balance. The moment happened as he was walking down the aisle, halfway through, when he slipped on white rose petals scattered across the floor.
Guests gasped as The Game appeared to take a dramatic fall. The video footage, widely shared on social media, cuts off before showing the full aftermath. Despite the scare, the rapper clarified later that he managed to recover smoothly.
“Ah slipped on the wet roses, did the James Brown & wiggled up out that shhhhhhiiiii… the playa way. Nothing to see here,” he quipped on Instagram, complete with crying laughing emojis. The incident didn’t put a damper on the festivities as he shared photos of himself enjoying the event.
He even officiated part of the ceremony, as seen in a video posted by Larue. The Game was at the altar, microphone in hand, pronouncing the couple husband and wife.
Recently, The Game revealed in an interview on the Tacos & Shawarma podcast that he is expecting his fourth child at 44. He drew inspiration from older parents in the industry, like JAY-Z and Mariah Carey, and expressed excitement about the new addition to his family. He didn’t disclose details about the baby’s mother or due date.
Reflecting on aging and parenting, he noted, “I’m 44, so when my new child is 21, I’ll be 65. And that seems kinda old until you start thinking about who’s 65 now. I don’t know how old Mariah Carey is, but she has to be, like, 10 years older than me. Or JAY-Z or somebody like that.”
