Nicki Minaj has officially revealed the lineup for the second leg of her much-anticipated Pink Friday 2 World Tour.
On Instagram, the rap queen announced that Tyga, BIA, and dancehall sensation Skillibeng will join her on the road. “Let’s just say you won’t wanna miss it. Y’all know I’m an honest pink lady,” she shared. “#GagCityReloaded will be a beautiful, magical dream come true. Better than the 1st half & that wasn’t easy to do. New looks, set list changes, other secrets, ummmm new music? Lemme think about it.”
Expressing her gratitude, she continued, “Thank you to the team doing this with me again. They’re simply the best. To the guest artists who will come out in their cities, thank you in advance; and to these 3 TALENTS (who I have so much love & respect for) for taking the G6 to #GAGCITY just for the Barbz & me.”
The tour kicks off in September in Philadelphia and will hit major cities like Washington, DC, Miami, Dallas, and Los Angeles before wrapping up in her hometown of Queens in October. Interestingly, this time around, she’ll have back-to-back nights in LA, making up for the missed official LA stop during the first leg.
Nicki recently concluded the first part of the tour, although she had to cancel her show in Romania due to safety concerns over planned protests. “Out of concern for the well-being of our team and myself, I have been advised by my security detail not to travel to Romania’s festival tonight due to safety concerns regarding protests in the area,” she explained on X (formerly Twitter).
“As a mom, I have to make sure I’m making sound decisions for me to make it home to my son and for my team to make it home to their families. To not heed the advice of security at this time is simply not what I think I should be doing. I love you and thank you for your understanding and support,” she added. Despite the setback in Romania, she was thrilled to headline London’s Wireless Festival.
The tour promises exciting new elements: new looks, set list changes, and even hints of new music. Nicki assured fans that this leg of the tour will surpass the first, which is no small feat considering it was already a top 10 hip-hop tour of all time.
Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 World Tour’s second leg is shaping up to be an unforgettable experience, with new surprises and stellar supporting acts. The Barbz definitely won’t want to miss it.
