He said, ‘I think the time has come for me to file a class action lawsuit against this and other social media platforms for violating my first amendment rights.’ In the caption, he reaffirmed, ‘I said what I said. During an interview at the 2024 BET Awards, he admitted feeling salty about missing the show, although he was on tour with Snoop Dogg in Canada at the time.
Quik recounted the moment, ‘I was knee-deep in Canada when all that unity happened. I cried myself to sleep that night in the dumb-ass Hilton hotel looking at you guys. I started hating.’ Snoop Dogg even tried to charter a jet to get them back in time, but it wasn’t logistically possible.
The ‘Pop Out’ concert, held at the Forum in Inglewood, featured many LA superstars like Dr. Dre, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Tyler, the Creator, YG, and Roddy Ricch. Kendrick Lamar brought members of the Crips and Bloods together on stage, marking a powerful moment for the city.
