Drake has just unleashed a trio of new tracks from his ‘100 Gigs’ data dump, sending fans into a frenzy.
On Saturday, three new songs by Drake — ‘It’s Up’ featuring Young Thug and 21 Savage, ‘Blue Green Red,’ and ‘Housekeeping Knows’ with Latto — landed on major streaming platforms. This follows the earlier release of his ‘100 Gigs for Your Headtop,’ which included a treasure trove of unreleased music, behind-the-scenes footage, and early drafts of album covers.
Latto took to X to share a video of herself rapping her verse on their collaboration, while the song’s producer, Gordo, expressed his excitement on the same platform, stating, ‘DRAKE – HOUSEKEEPING KNOWS PRODUCED BY MEEEEEEE!!!! HES BAAAAAAACKKKK!!!’
The ‘100 Gigs’ drop also includes BTS footage from the studio, the making of the ‘Hotline Bling’ video, and a 16-page ‘exterior concept pack’ for Drake’s plane. Fans have been treated to revealing moments, like Drake admitting ‘Hotline Bling’ was inspired by an old flame and contemplating adding Future to the track. Additionally, there’s an earlier version of ‘U With Me’ where Drake takes a jab at The Weeknd.
Other highlights from the dump include a Drake impression of The Weeknd during a concert rehearsal, and rehearsal footage of Drake and Rihanna performing ‘Take Care’ in 2014. Unreleased songs such as ‘Piece of Me,’ ‘Barbados Mandem,’ ‘Courtside Stepper,’ ‘Young, Rich & Beautiful’ and ‘Mention Me’ are also included.
Fans can still access the vast array of files at 100gigs.org, promoted through a new Instagram page @plottttwistttttt.
With these new releases, Drake solidifies his position as a powerhouse in the music industry, giving fans a glimpse into his creative process and more.
